Hospital Indemnity

Bridging the Gap

While Medicare covers many hospital expenses, there can still be deductibles, co-pays, and services that fall outside its scope. Hospitalization insurance, also known as hospital indemnity insurance, helps cover these gaps. It pays a fixed benefit amount directly to you for each day you're hospitalized, regardless of other insurance. This cash benefit can be used to cover:

  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses: Deductibles, co-insurance.

  • Non-medical costs: Lost income, childcare, or even transportation to appointments.

It's an excellent supplement to your existing health coverage, providing an extra layer of financial protection when you need it most.
